Meet Amy

Clinical Nutritionist

My journey to the nutrition field began 11 years ago. After facing a life-changing trauma that left me with high levels of anxiety, a PTSD diagnosis, insomnia, a tough relationship with alcohol, and poor overall health, I lived in a daily struggle of wanting to be well, and not knowing how to do it. Feeling like I was at a dead-end, I began to explore other therapeutic avenues and was introduced to herbs. Herbs provided me the relief that I needed, a connection to a passion I did not know I had, and a future in helping others that I had no idea existed. Herbs showed me that food is medicine and mental, physical, and emotional healing comes from my connection to the earth and the gifts that it provides.

Many years later, I now have over 1500 hours of herbalism training focused on medicine making and herbal energetics. A natural progression into the health and wellness field followed my herbal studies. It provided me with the ability to help others who are in the same place I had been - stressed and anxious. I earned bachelor's degrees in Health and Wellness and Integrative and Complementary Health then went on to earn my master’s degree in Nutrition and Integrative Health with an herbalism area of concentration.

As a clinical nutritionist, I work with those struggling with chronic dieting, addictions, high levels of stress and anxiety, and disordered eating patterns. I focus on empowering those with poor relationships with food, movement, and their body to find a sustainable approach to wellness. Whole foods, herbs and supplements, movement, self-care, stress management, loving relationships, and time in nature are evidence-based approaches to health that can provide lifelong wellness we can use to support your journey.
